Troven · LSAR / MIL-STD-1388-2B Conversion

Legacy Format.
Modern Turnaround.

If you supply parts or equipment to the U.S. military, there's a good chance you've been asked to deliver provisioning data in the legacy LSAR / MIL-STD-1388-2B format — the LSA-036 report structure — even though the standard was officially retired by the DoD back in 1996. Many government logistics systems were never migrated off it, so contractors on active programs are still required to submit in this exact legacy format today, regardless of how new the part or product is.

We built a tool that automates the conversion from your own part and product data into a submission-ready file — accurate, correctly structured, without the manual effort.

How it works

Three steps. No re-billing for revisions.

Step 01
Send your data
You send us your part and product details in your existing spreadsheet or data format — whatever you already have on hand.
Step 02
We convert it
We run it through our conversion process and return a properly formatted LSAR / LSA-036 submission file, built to the exact field-level spacing and structure the standard requires.
Step 03
Revise until accepted
We work with you through revisions until your submission is accepted by the program office — no re-billing for repeat runs.

Quoted per submission.

Get a quote
Every submission is different — pricing depends on the size and complexity of your part and product data. Send us your CDRL requirement and a sample of what you're working with, and we'll come back with a straightforward quote before any work begins. All revisions until your submission is accepted are included — no per-run or hourly charges once the quote is set.

Good fit if…
You're a supplier or subcontractor on a DoD program, and your Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) is asking for data in the legacy LSAR / 1388-2B / LSA-036 format — and you'd rather hand off the formatting than build it in-house.
