KDP's own export gives you a raw page count for the current month, not a payout. Amazon doesn't publish the per-page fund rate until roughly two weeks after the month ends. Here's an estimate to work with until it lands.
Why there's no way to know this in real time. The KDP Select Global Fund is a fixed pool Amazon splits across every page read fund-wide that month. The per-page rate can't be calculated until the month is over and the total is known, which is why it always arrives on a lag, and why judging a campaign purely on the Sales column while most of the income is page reads makes ads look worse than they are.
A reasonable way to work around it. Use a trailing average of the last few published rates as your working figure through the month, then correct it retroactively once the real number posts. Not perfect, but it beats treating page reads as unknowable in the meantime.
Once the real rate lands, this royalty flows straight into your account's actual TACOS, not just your ad-attributed sales. Troven Ads Optimizer tracks it automatically, per book, and corrects the whole picture retroactively the moment Amazon publishes the real number.
